Over the past decade, I’ve designed products and systems across commerce, wearables, voice interfaces, mobile, web, and emerging technologies. Most recently, I spent six years at Shopify, designing tools that support millions of merchants and the businesses they’re building.

My path into design wasn’t particularly linear. Before design, I was a craftsperson and a consultant working in domains ranging from nuclear power to jet fuel. Eventually, I found my way to industrial and interaction design, a field that brought together the things I’d been circling all along: people, technology, business, systems, and making.

I have a particular soft spot for NBDs (Never Been Dones).
